What they do;
Distribute bikes and bike related hardware. One of Victoria's best known bicycle retailers.

What we did for them;
Captivating flash introduction, content management system and complex on-line store that can handle items of various colours, sizes and group sets.

Includes expanding tree navigation, a product keyword search engine to search for items in the store, a freight calculator, on-line credit card payments, order reporting system and a members area including exclusive discounted pricing requiring a username and password for access.

The store also has an on-line newsletter subscription service.

This has been one of our most successful stores, generating one to two hundred thousand page hits a month and, we are told, quite lucrative profits for the owners of the Freedom Machine. 

They can sell and distribute their bikes and hardware 24x7x365 to any point in Australia serviced by Australia Post or Courier because of our efforts with their store.

What we did for them;
Content Management System enabling them to manage their web site in 4 different languages - they can change any of their content in this web site through the content management interface.

What we did for them;
Online Works created a content management system for their web site and built and integrated a freight tracking and reporting extranet into their web site allowing customers and ABX staff to manage global freight movements data.

What the solution included;
Built-in messaging system that uses the email system of the Internet to alert ABX staff and their clients when data in the system has been altered.

The system includes multiple levels of access and authentication for ABX staff and client users to easily control who in the organisation can access which types of data and functions.

The system can be configured by ABX to accommodate any amount and type of data through the administration system.

All data amendments in the system are logged by an internal logging and reporting engine to ensure an audit trail is available for users through the system should the need arise.

Online Works converted their technical and printed specification material to an on-line format accessible via the internet - a staggering job considering we had to convert over 15,000 parts, descriptions and part numbers to an electronic format from printed manuals simultaneously ensuring errors were minimised in transcription and eradicated altogether from the on-line version.

Online Works created a web site and integrated it with a fully custom built extranet product database of ingredients, products and projects so their global team can log in to the system, view and update data in real time and keep current on what projects have been completed for which manufacturer, the ingredient types used and what went into making the product a success.
